Sept. 11, 2001- Etched in Memory
- At exactly 8:46 am EST, it will be 25 years since the tragic events of 9/11. I ask that today be a Day of Reflection not just of September 11, 2011 and the many lives lost; but a reflection of how our World as knew it then, has changed into the World of so many lives lost since then fighting for our Freedom.

- Let us never forget the over 3,000 lives lost that day.
- Eventually since that time more than 15,000 people have died after Sept. 11, than those lost when the Twin Towers collapsed. Many of these people were the first responders who rushed to try and save those within the buildings. The after effects of 9/11 have caused many different types of cancer. These cancers resulting in the many deaths were from the asbestos, silica, chemicals and dust resulting in dangerous air quality.
- This year, as they have during the past 25 years, the names of each person killed that day are read by family members. This year there will be a moment of silence honoring those who have died since.
I invite you all to pray for those lost and those 700 bodies who have never been found or identified.
